The following guide outlines how to get your Garmin R10 working with GSPro.


The Garmin Approach R10 connects to your PC via Bluetooth. If your PC does not have Bluetooth capabilities, you can purchase a USB Bluetooth adapter such as: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-USB-BT500-Bluetooth-Backward-Compatible/dp/B08DFBNG7F

Garmin R10 Setup

  • Before starting GSPro, you need to connect your Garmin R10 to your PC’s Bluetooth.

    1. Open the Taskbar tray

    2. Right click the blue and white Bluetooth icon and select “Show Bluetooth Devices”

    3. Select “Add Bluetooth or other device”

    4. Select “Bluetooth”

    5. Hold down the physical button on the R10 to put it into pairing mode

    6. Once the Approach R10 options shows in the connection window, select Connect/Pair


Start GSPro

  • You are now ready to start GSPro

  • Double click the GSPro Launcher on the Desktop. It is the golf ball icon

  • If asked, Agree to the terms of service

  • Once GSPro full starts, enter your license key if asked

  • The GSPro Connect application will open with the Garmin R10 option showing

  • Click the blue “Garmin R10” button

  • GSPro Connect will automatically find and connect to your R10

  • Head to the main GSPro application and begin to play!


Important Notes:

  • Once you are connected via the GSPro Connect application, do not close the application. You can minimize GSPro Connect, but do not hit the X/close button

  • The Garmin Approach R10 does not support putting. Be sure to select one of the auto putt modes before starting a round of golf
